R7 Radar Detector

The Uniden R7 is a top-of-the-line extreme long-range radar detector. With built-in GPS, users can mark points where they may typically encounter radar alerts. Set alerts to notify users of speed zones, speed traps, construction zones, school zones, and other traffic issues as they approach. Once users mark a point, the R7 will announce “user-mark ahead” as they near the saved geo point. The R7's voice notification lets users know what type of radar it is detecting (speed, red light, etc.).

Dual Antennas and Directional Arrows

Allow the R7 to detect threats from all four directions, with arrows displaying the direction of the threat. It even shows the band and signal strength for each.

Built-in GPS with Auto-Mute Memory

The R7 can remember and automatically mute false alerts (such as retail store door alarms) along routes so users never have to listen to the same false alert twice.

Multi-Color OLED Display

An easy-to-read display allows for more useful information to be displayed at once, improving overall situational awareness.

Voice Alerts

Voice alerts provide clear communication, allowing for hands-free operation. Voice alerts are programable to fit the users’ style so they can keep their eyes on the road with no distractions.

Advanced K/KA Band Filtering

The R7 has the best K/KA Band filtering, resulting in fewer false alerts from blind-spot monitoring and collision avoidance systems.

Red Light/Speed Camera Alerts

Pre-loaded Red Light and Speed Camera locations with free database and firmware updates ensure the radar detector will always be up-to-date.
